witty ap ssid not coming up ip unset

    Hi

    I flashed Tasmota on a witty via OTA .

    Witty was formerly running ESPEasy firmware.

    AP is not coming up. Do not see the SSID.

    Tasmota Version 8.1.0.2(tasmota)-2_6_1

    Code

    Did I miss anything?

    see serial log with Status 0

    After running status 0 the witty restarted.

    Your system restarts after 3 Minutes because you didn't do any settings. Look at the clock informations. Your device opens an own wifi-network. You have to connect after booting to this SSID with your smartphone for example and call the ip 192.168.4.1 . Now you can configure your device: Settings -> WiFi. Set a SSID which is valide and choose if you want to use DHCP or permanent IP. (Check the commands manual). If you use MainMenue -> Console you should use the command:

    After the next reboot your device will connect to your local wifi succesfully (if the values were correct!)

    ok thanks.

    I expected the ssid as AP : tasmota-4082

    but no AP was showing up

    That is what confused me.

    I managed now to get a wifi connection working via serial and got a hint in an issue

    that probably due to old firmware and sdk on the ESP the config was messed up.


    Looks like I have to delete old settings. But I am looking for an OTA way to migrate the ESPs from ESP-Easy to tasmota without serial connection...
